Spring roll is called Lumpia in Indonesia. There are many versions, the most famous is Lumpia Semarang from Semarang, the capital of Central Java Province. However Lumpia is usually bigger than the common spring roll that we have in restaurant or in frozen packaging in supermarket. Usually it stuffed with shrimp, bamboo shoots, and other vegetables. For vegetarian version like ours, we stuff it with vermicelli, chinese black mushroom, peas, carrot and coriander leaf.

It is a snack that can quite easily get in cake/savoury shops, street vendor, and it makes a good companion for tea or coffee in the morning or afternoon.
